Ethnobotany and Economic Botany is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal of the Society for Ethnobotany which publishes original research articles and notes on a wide range of topics dealing with the utilization of plants by people, plus special reports, letters and book reviews. Ethnobotany and Economic Botany specializes in scientific articles on the botany, history, and evolution of useful plants and their modes of use.

The journal Economic Botany changed its title as of January 1st, 2026 to Ethnobotany and Economic Botany. To learn more about this name change, click here.
